Its that reason why I say everyone is a nerd about something.
Yah, you may be talking to the former school jock/football star who was barely handed their diploma, but ask them about their sport/the industries around it. You will likely get a better lesson on statistics and managment that you can get out of most text books.
People usually like talking about their interests.
Yeah, there's nothing wrong with being into football, just like there's nothing wrong with not being into it. If you're an asshole about either of those things, that's a problem.
