I did find it to be an interesting ep, and it definitely tugged at the ol' heartstrings. But, I watched TNG and Ds9 back when they aired, so my memory is very fuzzy. lol. Also, more TNG than ds9, admittedly. I remember the broad strokes, but I think I also get ds9 stuff confused with Babylon 5 sometimes.
