Even a single pickled jalapeño that isn't even spicy gives me hot girl tummy issues. I'll be eating peppers ranging from spicy Korean red pepper powder to Thai bird eyes and usually be as right as rain, but Latin American spicy just wrecks me 9 different ways to sunday

I suspect between the tomatoes and the vinegar and the citrus it's more acidic, which hits some tummies different.

Although the only pepper to ever really hurt my tummy was bhut jolokia. It's just so sweet and delicious!
