  1. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
  2. Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
  3. Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
  4. Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world

Watched The Edge Of Sleep the other night, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It got me to listen to the original podcast audio drama, which was also very enjoyable. They changed a lot of things for the show, but I think it still works as a good representation of the story, there’s some give and take as to what did what better, but they both have their charm.

I like the bones of the story enough to forgive some of its shortcomings, it’s a really cool concept. One night, everyone who fell asleep dies in their sleep, if you sleep then you die, the main character has a connection to what’s happening he’s trying to figure out, and Linda is a badass.

Edit: It’s on Tubi, only eight episodes at about 20 minutes a pop, it’s a very digestible show.
