My dad wanted us to roll his ashes into a joint and smoke him.
We respected his wishes to be cremated, but I'm sorry daddy, I don't think anyone's gonna be smoking your ashes..
Coward. I'll blaze your dad, hmu if he starts haunting you over this
Umm, okay. I still have ashes available, you gotta roll it and smoke it yourself though..
Haha I was just kidding, he probably was too. Genuinely down but it seems logistically tricky, if there's a haunting that needs addressed we can talk about flying me in then ;)
Have you seen "How High"?
I was just joking too, but dad seriously said that, almost every time we had friends over and a doobie going around..
He sounds like a cool guy. The bit's at least as old as cheech and chong, and the core premise of "How High" is gaining the knowledge of the dead by smoking their remains to pass college entrance exams. I used to tell the kids they should scrape my lungs for resin, here's Willie Nelson to elaborate the concept :)
