Going to watch the opening ceremony when I get home. I'm glad that it sounds like the boos were directed at JD Vance instead of the athletes. Fuck that guy. I don't know what he expected to happen. That would suck to be training to be a top-tier athlete and your country does something shitty and you get boo'd for it.
I’m watching it on delay right now, and they just came in. The athletes got a great cheer, but that quickly switched to boos when they showed him. It was perfectly done.
I watched some but not the entire thing. Did other countries leaders get shown while their athletes walked out our just Vance during the USA? None of what I watched showed other leaders. Maybe they weren't there? I don't know
It depends on their recognition status I guess. They showed princess Anne I think when Great Britain entered. And a few others.

Anne is an IOC member and Olympian herself.
The boos were mostly edited out. At least in the videos I watched. If you find a good one, please share.
