They want you to send everything you've ever designed over to some random server so it can be checked first by proper authorities like Bill Gates...hold on. Wait. Its gonna be a few days he's raping some underaged people. Be patient. Okay good, now you can print your articulated dragon and make some money selling it!
Oh by the way our new AI can design totally rad articulated dragons now! And car doors, engines, blenders, chips, you name it! Its magic! Oh we spent a lot of money training our AI manually. We didn't just train it on all the designs we purchased from the gun control checking company... Cuz that's us too! LOL.
trusting an AI designed engine isn't really any more foolish than trusting the engine design of any random person with a printer
Tell that to the translators with no job. So long as it doesn't have to invent anything of its own AI can be made to copy almost anything.
Machine translation still isn't good enough to actually replace human translators. The problem is that people higher up decided that the chatbots were good enough and were willing to accept an inferior translation for the sake of cutting labor costs.
