The red hats in the article literally come from historical resistance to Nazis:

Minnesota has one of the highest concentrations of residents who claim Norwegian ancestry, according to state demographers.

The red tasselled hat, called a nisselue in Norwegian, was a symbol of patriotism and protest against Nazi occupation during the Second World War.

I'm glad they don't look like MAGA hats, I would never wear a hat that could be mistaken for them.

That could honestly never be mistaken for a maga hat

Thanks for the image. These look nothing like the MAGAzi's caps. I retract my statement in regards to these hats, but it stands to any normal cap/hat of similar color design.
