I really wish Americans would take the 30 seconds it takes to learn the difference. Its absolutely exhausting to constantly have to correct and explain.

Fascist elites use the media to destroy the meaning of any word that poses a threat to power. "Liberal", "Woke" "antifa" and countless others have all been deliberately beaten to death by repeated deliberate misuse. When a well meaning articulate thinker tries to discuss any matter of importance and uses a correct word, they find the person being spoken too misunderstands the topic because words mean something different to them.

Articulate intellectual discussion can't disseminate to the public and compete with all the major news sources distorting language. Orwell warned us, but too many people can't read.
