Man idk it seemed pretty clear to me. A cartoon version of Netanyahu and his white country want to invade their neighboring brown country with the full support of the US government, with the specific framing of not-Netanyahu’s side killing children.
Like, the villain looks and sounds exactly like Netanyahu, that’s how SNL would portray him
When watching it, I thought they were done a comparison to the Russian war from a liberal perspective. It wasn't until I saw brown people on the other side at the very end I started thinking Israel, but even then I still figured it was an amalgamation.
But Russia didn’t have the support of the U.S.. I feel like that’s such a huge difference, I don’t think I thought of it as a Russia equivalent for even a second.
