This question just came to me while I was buying a subway pass. It's priced very well, provides a very good service, doesn't suffer from enshittification, and its price increases very rarely.

What are some other services which people don't mind subscribing to?

I hate to say this but value wise amazon. You get the shipping benefit, songs, videos, and video games. Its not the best at anything in particular but you get a pretty good bang for the buck.

While I agree with you in theory, that is, the price to offering services is really good, but I know that Amazon is currently burning through money to offer the services JUST SO that they can oust their competitors. So I cannot morally support Amazon.

oh and i totally agree. This was just based on a cost to benefit ratio. I mean once you bring morality into it with all the corporate behomeths behind most subscriptions that takes out a lot. Like pathfinder 100% but im honestly not sure on humble bundle as I am not up on how they are as an entity.

I also understand. I am also a Prime subscriber. But I have done it mainly for my family. But I'm trying to move away from it as much as possible.

I feel this because im not so sure I would have it if not for my wife. Its nice but honestly only the music is worth it very much to me,which is easily replaceable, and as a company im not wild about it.
