I’m annoyed I got rid of a cooling elevated mesh pet bed that was too high for Melbcat to comfortably step up onto. This furry lil dude could have used it.

spoilerTrying to work out how to rig some shade cloth or shade sails that won’t cause damage with weight/a gust of wind and don’t count as a ‘fixture’. As a bonus it would shade the window.

I considered one of those big freestanding umbrellas but they are quite expensive, bulky and too heavy for me to move or assemble.

We got doggo a cooling mat. The most he's done is stick a paw on it. Maybe melbcat will like something like that?

Good idea. I want to get something for the outside cat as well though to stop him turning into a roast chicken

I have no idea where he goes during the 40 degree days
