- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

The problem is we should be opposing ICE, not just Trump's version. Biden's version has them chasing down Hatians on horseback, slave patrol style. Biden helped build the current infrastructure for trump to exploit.
Liberals only oppose it now because a white woman died.
And now a white man. But more important than race or gender I think people care more because they were US citizens and were murdered in broad daylight. Their murder and rape of immigrants is being done behind closed doors. Sure a story leaks out here and there but we lack the visceral impact of a video.
That's one of the details in today's coverage that kept getting under my skin: identifying them as citizens as if that makes it worse.
The already egregious violations of multiple civil rights taking place up to and including the murder are the story, not the victim's immigration status.
If they were not a citizen they are still entitled to all civil rights granted by our constitution; the Bill of Rights makes no mention of citizenship as a condition for the rights enumerated therein nor does the word "citizen" even appear in the text.
If they are allowed to take away one person's rights, all of ours are forfeit.
Yeah, that really frustrated me because they've killed literally dozens of people in the last year. That said, it got people moving, which is at least something.
It got them moving for about a week
