Supreme Court gonna slap his ass over these tariffs now that he made that move. It defeats every argument his legal team presented to the court. He's literally running on one orange brain cell.
I'm pretty sure they were going to do that anyway just because it will be a huge windfall for businesses who were able to pass tariff costs along to consumers but will be the only ones getting refunded anyway, but, yeah, Trump's aggressive idiocy is really making it easy for them
Yeah that could give him the boost he needs to ride the economy to the midterms. It will take a very long time to get to the same level of tariffs if they can't use IEEPA.
Nah, they're going to find some way to let it slide. They're already bought and paid for

i still can't fucking believe they got away with stealing obama's nomination for scotus because "6 months left of term" or whatever bullshit, and then were more than happy to give trump his nominee in the same situation
