Example:

- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

You are unequivocally handwringing.
You can't keep lying to an electorate and expect them to continue to show up.
The Democrats are the only party that can stop this, and until the party shows up for the people of this country, not the other way around, nothing changes.
If you are doing anything other than advocating for Democratic leadership to change, for the Democrats to abandon their pro corporate strategy whole cloth, you are an enemy to progress.
Democrats, as a party, polled lower than DJT in 2025. Abusing voters by telling them they need to vote for a feckless party that is constantly working against them is litterally pushing voters away from the party. Stop.
The only path forward is to focus critical on Democratic leadership. EVERYTHING else supports fascists.
This is the first time I've heard you even get close to something representing a call to action. Give me more of this. How do I advocate for change? Who do I speak to, and how do I amplify that message? Get specific. Stop intentionally mischaracterizing my comments as "handwringing" (how am I handwringing?? I'm not even disagreeing with you, I'm just criticizing your method of communication for being demoralizing and ineffective) and actually give people something to do. It's all well and good to tell me to "stop because you're doing real damage," but the next step is to tell me what to do instead.
I don't really give a shit what you think is a good way of communicating. Everything you've shown here: Its why Democrats lost in 2016 and 2024.
I know you don't give a shit, that's why you've done nothing but make faltering attacks at arguments I never made and attempt to equate me as a person to the failings of our political system. You don't want anyone to do anything about anything; demoralization was the point all along. I can only hope someone eventually comes along and takes a serious look at this argument, and decides to actually do something with their feelings rather than spew their negativity all over everyone else. Or, knock on wood, that you one day grow up and revisit this thread with the genuine desire to do something constructive with your time.
Either way, good luck.
You the one that needs to grow up. This isn't a fucking sporting match dipshit. You cost us the election last time with this shit. Keep it to yourself.
