Still think it's a shame that someone who at least used to be so well aware of the bullshit of cube farm corporate life could be so fucking disgustingly wrong about everything the hell else.
Rest in piss indeed.
Lathe: Adams saw himself and his ilk as the pointy-haired boss and saw it as a good thing.
He was the pointy-haired boss. He was a guy with an MBA and an economics degree who was part of management. You're supposed to empathize with Dilbert, but when you find out Adams was an exec type everything starts to make a lot more sense about the comic and Adams' life in general.
I think he was aware of the bullshit, but not aware that it was a problem which could be solved.
