I'm sorry, do you actually think the problem I'm referring to is the number of illegal immigrants being deported?
I'm sorry, the problem is that both parties are subservient to the capital. Voting for Kamala would mean most things are slightly less bad (perhaps there wouldn't be as many ICE raids), but the overall direction would be similar. Don't get me wrong, I'd do it still, but it's not a solution, more like a dirty bandaid on a gaping wound.
In any case, after 4 more years of neoliberals fucking over the working class to increase rate of profits, the people would be angry and would vote for the opposition anyways. It would just be delaying the inevitable. Perhaps the best outcome from Kamala winning would be that you would have more time to build up alternatives to the two-party dictatorship, which is slightly easier when there's at least a pretense of liberalism and human rights.
ICE is shooting innocent people in the face in broad daylight and the President is running cover for them.
Shut the fuck up with this rhetorical bullshit.
Make sure your lemmy settings are set to show the instances of users. If you see a braindead take from an .ml, you're not talking with a good faith actor. Don't take the bait.
Word, lemme fix that on my phone.
Ive blocked all the ml instances I can find but I still see comments from them, does that not work the way I thought it does?
Might depend on the client you're using. The mobile app is use has a distinction between posts and comments
