Honestly, yeah. Let Trump rule Venezuela, and get someone else to govern the US. Sucks for Venezuelans, but what doesn't? And he can do a lot less damage there.

I think he has fantasies about being the absolute ruler there, sitting on top of an ocean of oil. Way better than the Saudis and their stupid desert. His is tropical, and bigger than Jeffrey's island. And as a Monarchy, he doesn't allow extradition to the United States.

I've heard recently that there's actually a good chance that ocean of oil was a lie to gain more influence in OPEC. But as long as it's a lie he can believe, I don't think Trump will mind.

MAGA is trying to convince us that the oil isn't the motivation, that there's not enough oil to care about, or it will be years before they can fix the infrastructure to get the oil, etc.

Meanwhile, they keep hijacking tankers full of oil, and China, Russia, Cuba, and others, have been buying tons of Venezuelan oil for years. Seems like there is plenty to steal.

Oh, there's absolutely oil. No doubt about that. It's the claim that Venezuela has the largest reserves in the world, that I'm doubting. But even if they had only a third of the claimed amount, they'd still have an enormous amount of oil.

If it's Trump's oil, it's the biggest oil deposit in the universe. He's probably convinced himself that it somehow drinks from the Saudi's milkshake, making his oil so much sweeter.
