Is this implies that same sex sexuality began with primates, it's wrong. It's found in so many other species, including swans and penguins which aren't even mammals

The research paper isn't saying same sex sexuality began with primates, just that this research is only about primates.

There are gay swarm couples who adopt other children. And about penguins, there is a picture book for children based on a true story about a gay penguin couple in a zoo
