So it's the bare minimum of both Black and White and Fable? That's what it looks like.
Has Molyneux given up on Fable or is Fable entirely out of his hands now? I noticed he didn't use the name Fable by name here, just the country/world name.
Honestly, the bare minimum Black and White and Fable would be good enough for me to check it out. If that's the plan, and they execute it well, I'm all in. What worries me is that they will aim too high and spend the whole development budget on features that will never work in the final release.
The Fable IP is owned by Microsoft, so unless 22cans is working with/for them the game cannot officially be Fable.
So Microsoft pens the name Fable but anyone can set a game in Albion as long as they don’t call it Fable? Or is that name far older, from some old fairy tale or something? I haven’t played a Fable game since the second one (still mad about the ending) and I recognize the name.
Albion is another name for Great Britain.
