Welcome!
This community exists for trans people and others to give each other advice and support regarding HRT.
Keep in mind that none of us are doctors. Read up on how to do things properly and double check any advice you are given.
Rules
- Follow the instance rules.
- Be accurate.
- Don't make others worry unnecessarily.
- Sources are appreciated.
Quick Facts
- Different routes (oral vs injections vs trans-dermal etc) have the same results. Pick whichever option you are most comfortable with.
- If you're doing feminizing hrt your boobs will randomly grow in bursts. Chest pain going away is perfectly normal.
- It's unreliable to estimate your hormone levels based on signs. Take blood tests if they are available to you.
- Remember to eat well, get enough sleep, and exercise! This will help you grow properly and look more masculine on testosterone or more feminine on estradiol.

Hope you're going to receive it. I ordered mine and started 2 weeks ago HRT. Ordered it 4 weeks ago.
Mine was... Local so less trouble for delivery. It came with a surprising label ๐.
I notice some small changes already and I'm happy with that even though it's a bit terrifying that it's like finally real.
I'm looking forward to it but also nervous. Not because of the changes, but more because I've been miserable all my life and what if it doesn't make me feel better?
If it doesn't work then no harm will be done, if it does - and it probably will - it'll all be a positive. Nothing to lose, and everything to gain. For me personally, HRT made life tolerable. The grey tinted glasses I'd been wearing came off and I stopped being depressed and bothered by smaller things.
It's not that I fear negative effects from it, it's more that I've pinned a lot of hope for the future on it working, and if it doesn't then I need to do some very serious work on my mental health that I just don't have the energy for.
Well, I wish you luck and hope it does work for you!
Thanks!
Same I wish you the best. I started feeling a bit better generally. But then again, I'm don't know if this is just because placebo, mental gymnastics or just knowing that I'll be able to express myself better.
My dysphoria is almost entirety biochemical as far as I can tell. So it should have a positive effect, but there's always a small chance that the underlying cause of my symptoms is not related to gender and the hormones won't be what I need.
