Rules:
1. Be civil

2. All posts should contain a source (url) that is as reliable and unbiased as possible and must only contain one link.
Obvious right or left wing sources will be removed at the mods discretion. Supporting links can be added in comments or posted seperately but not to the post body.
3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.
Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.
4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source.
Posts which titles don’t match the source won’t be removed, but the autoMod will notify you, and if your title misrepresents the original article, the post will be deleted. If the site changed their headline, the bot might still contact you, just ignore it, we won’t delete your post.
5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

I've had more dangerous encounters with Tesla drivers in a Whole Foods parking lot.
Edit: Must have made this comment some time after hearing this song. Wasn't meant to be made without credit. Not the exact line but definitely similar to the opener.
Not even sure though. Maybe it's just a common thought with all of us having to hear Nazis on Twitter pretending like the piece of shit had any real fear for his life.

I swear to god I get menaced by assholes in cars every single day worse than this.
Actually I didn't even make the connection but on my way back from protesting my local ICE facility last night (which you should all be doing by the way) dude tried to back up into me. I chose to just slowly move out of the way (and flip him off of course) but I guess according to DHS I should have started blasting instead?
Those things should be required to play ice cream truck music while moving
Would be better than that awful annoying hum. God I hate it. When the car is stopped but running it's the worst. Who decided that was a good sound?
I think that’s the climate system running.
Isn't it the "Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System"? It doesn't need to make that noise when not in motion, but Tesla does it anyways for some dumb reason. So obnoxious compared to the sounds that other EVs do when in motion.
Ok. I didn't know that but you are probably right. I think it's only the Teslas that are just sitting still and doing that awful hum. I'm ok with the hum for a moving vehicle so I hear it coming. But, when one is just sitting still humming it's infuriating.
Honestly, even the best ones sound like the stupidest version of a cartoon spaceship. Tesla's are definitely the worst I've heard though.
