Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.

Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.

This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.

Don't take yourselves too seriously. Serious posts go to !anarchism@lemmy.dbzer0.com

To be clear; everyone working in my government, particularly after today, is a Nazi, or someone who works for Nazis. Do you know what we call people who worked for the Nazis, in the Nazi government? Yes, that is correct, Nazis.

So Machado is certainly not gonna feel lonely on the list of people on my TV who are definitely Nazis.

Oh, was that too harsh? Are you feeling bad for the good career civil servants, working for the literal fucking Nazis, who I have just impuned? Cool, let's refer back to that part where I said I was surrounded by people who openly recognize that this is fascism, and ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY refuse to accept what that actually means.

We call people, who worked for the Nazi Party, in the Nazi government, Nazis. Nobody says "the Nazi government and the career civil servants who hated them but stayed."

"They'll just find someone else."

Then let them. "I took the job at the concentration camp because I was sure Hitler would find someone else" was not a good defense in court last time, and it won't be this time either.

A private dictator uses a private instance.

The US government doesn't own, or operate a Mastodon instance.

There wasn't anything official about the abduction AFTER the Whitehouse declaration.

Claiming a private dictator’s words on his private communication is “official US government communications” is preposterous.
No need to reiterate dictators can lie and fabricate information on their private communication networks.

I'm not sure what using a private instance or the government not owning said instance means to you here - it is a private instance, it is a privately owned instance, that doesn't change anything about it being used by the president to make an official communication. If he used his personal phone to call a news org, it would still be him officially communicating. The medium doesn't matter, the content and context does.

No need to reiterate dictators can lie and fabricate information on their private communication networks.

And... they do that on their publicly owned communication networks, too. Trump does that all the time. I'm not sure how this is at all relevant.

side note:

There wasn’t anything official about the abduction AFTER the Whitehouse declaration.

I'm guessing that's a typo? I'm not sure what you mean otherwise since there's been absolutely shitloads of official discussion about the abduction of Maduro, the military action, etc. etc. including things like press conferences

Because a president using a non official communication is not “an official US Government Communication.”

The fact you keep calling him a president instead of a dictator abusing is use of “official US Government Communications” is far more revealing on how you view his actions of tax paid office hours.

The fact you keep calling him a president instead of a dictator

You're grasping at straws here dude, the reason I'm not calling him that is because he absolutely does not have supreme power. Not wanting to water down the term by calling any authoritarian bastard a "dictator" isn't a sign of support, it's a sign that I care about what words mean. By any strict definition of dictator he isn't one - he's a tyrannical, rapist, murdering pedophile bastard but he does not come close to meeting the most widely accepted definitions of what a dictator is.

(edit:)

Because a president using a non official communication is not “an official US Government Communication.”

Also, no, what? Do you mean using a non-official means of communication? Because that's not a thing, we've been over that already. Otherwise this just doesn't make sense and I have no idea what you're trying to say.
