I don't get it. How can people vote for someone who gives billions of tax dollars to for profit mega corporations, and takes away basic funding for the most vulnerable people?

Some of them are fascists who believe vulnerable people are weak and don't deserve to live. They'll believe this right up until they need help, then they'll make an exception for themselves and continue to believe it about other people.

this. Literally knew a guy who was against universal healthcare getting care from a charity. Its fine he get care from a charity and he deserves to get it but god forbid taxes are used to make sure everyone get care.

They actively do not want to know. It hurts them to know. Therefore they spend all of the allotted time for News or current events in a desperate escape from same. Sitcoms, sports, food.
