It is an awful transphobic term, made to prioritize one's AGAB over their gender identity. It's transmedicalist too in the perspective that it affirms that there are "other" less valid trans people.
Also, you're not the only one targeted by the term. Binary trans men (like me) have had it used against me to say my experiences weren't valid since there is a vapid dichotomy between the experiences of trans AFAB vs trans AMAB people.
It's a terrible transmedicalist and misogynistic term, made to divide us intentionally
thank you for your insight, i despise the term and i always feel "lesser" when i see it, especially since i'm "basically cis" by most people. im afab and identify as a nonbinary woman and i look like a girl.
