Not every country wants all immigration though.

[-] aurelian@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 year ago

Sure everyone wants their own personal castle.

I just think people can just have some slightly less nice things, maybe instead of buying a f150 truck get a small utility vehicle, stuff like that.

As somebody who also is on the fuckcars train, how the fuck did you manage to get on that topic in a response to my comment lol

How to tell me you're a dumb american that doesn't know Europe without telling me you're a dumb american that doesn't know Europe.

xD wow you think I'm American, you are extremely cold my friend.

I am a South African who recently ran away to the Netherlands to avoid constant load shedding and rich with sollar panels.

I think you have a big image of how people in rixh countries live. Most people dont live in big houses, most people dont own trucks. Sure the average person has more things than an averga person in a poor country, but the average person is not going to sacrifice their small luxuries, so people from poor countries come to live with them, especially if the people coming dont have studies and are just going to be living frol the government's money.

[-] aurelian@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 year ago

I'm in no way saying the average person should have to sacrifice anything, the problem is that is exactly what your currently being force to do by the people above you.

Just think of how many people could literally be housed for life with the money spent on Jeffs latest yacht he sailed out of Amsterdam.

Where talking orders of magnitude difference between the average person and the rich never mind those who are desperately trying to escape.

I bet you are fine with banks doing it.

[-] Roggie@lemmynsfw.com 1 points 1 year ago

[-] systemglitch@lemmy.world -2 points 1 year ago

And maybe you can let some homeless person sleep under your roof. Solidarity right? Help everyone who has less than you.

[-] afraid_of_zombies@lemmy.world -2 points 1 year ago

What religion are you a member of?

[-] systemglitch@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

The religion of agnostic.

But like I said in my other reply, have a great day. I'm going to do something productive and pull weeds from the yard and never speak to you again. Take care!

[-] afraid_of_zombies@lemmy.world -4 points 1 year ago

The religion of agnostic.

Doubt.

For the commenter I replied to? Yeah, their premise made no sense: people won't do things they don't want to and have no incentive to do.

[-] dudebro@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

No, not for the commenter you replied to.

Can you read?
