The only socially approved cis male hobbies are Gun, Car, Sport, Guitar, and vidya games about the first 3 of these.
I can't speak for the cis female side because I wasn't socialized as one, though I suspect their number is more.

Anything that demonstratively makes your life worse (smoking, drinking, gambling) could be in a category.

That's not a hobby. Doing your own brewing or distilling is a hobby though.
