Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Fuck the heat, I don't understand the lizard-blooded people that hate winter.
It also just makes sense on a practical level. You can always put on another layer, but there are only so many layers you can remove in the heat.
Fuck winter.
Am lizard-blooded.
Temps below ~60°F/15°C cause actual, physical pain. My joints hurt, my bones hurt, the air is usually drier which makes it hard to breathe, and my muscles tense trying to brace myself against the cold.
Yes, I stretch. Yes, I wear layers. Yes, I take prescribed vitamin D. I still hurt and I still deal with pretty bad seasonal depression. That’s why I’m happy at 90°F/32°C; it stops hurting.
:(
Aw, I'm sorry. I get nauseous and weird prickly skin along with sweating almost literal buckets when it's too warm, so I guess I do feel you on a conceptual level, at least, even if it's the reverse for me.
My condolences to you as well. Crazy how human biology can vary so much!
Hopefully you’re able to be in a climate better suited to your needs, if you so choose.
My happy temperature!
For real. I hate the heat. The quality of my sleep increases exponentially when my room is under 60 degrees. In the summer, when I'm fighting my power bill to get below 73, life is absolutely miserable.
I'll deal with the heat in exchange for sunlight and thriving plant life.
Currently preparing for the ice storm that will hit tonight, which will likely knock out power. As I would rather not freeze to death, and have all the pipes burst in my house. Ya, winter.
