Hoi4 alt-history mods have been a disaster for online political discourse and directly lead to a rise in great man theory and supermarket ideology shopping so I’m giving China W points on this one.
My source: me being really mad at the amount of times people have proposed Syndicalism as a magic political theory online
Is it cool to NOT get these game references? I got a emulation handheld that looks like a GBA for Christmas. It plays Final Fantasy 9 and Chrono Trigger... and Mr. Driller! I'm set for a long time lol
Tbh, if you get these game references, you are an omega nerd. I have a lot of gamer friends and most of them don't even know about these paradox grand strategy games. Actually having hundreds of hours sunk into them makes a rare kind of gamer (which I am 💪).
