There are 6 billion people in the world.
Ok.. you do get how relatively tiny your circle of friends is. Everyone you times 1000 is fractional amount compared just to the population of your country.
The movie made 340 million because the franchise is beloved. I know that shocks the Reddit/Lemmy hive mind that is convinced the movies have no cultural significance.
I went to go see it. Wicked and this are the only movies I saw in the theater. It was great fun.
Yes, I understand my sample group is small. That's why I said I'm sure people were seeing them, I was just sharing an observation.

Yeah, how could a movie about native Americans and their struggle against the colonizers be relevant in the US.
