i wouldnt wish upon my worst enemy to code ONLY with ai. Maybe at the beginning it would look fine. but god, anything above fundamentals, anything above those that can be repeated, and its talking to a boulder
We already have a few hires with no fundamentals and now im seeing in the repos master_1 and master_2 and im dying internally. Not even basic git skills just pure unadulterated slop and breaking prod then running out the office and leaving me to fix it
Why the fuck can't I get hired
When i say hires i mean offshore contractors we dont hire anyone else and havent for years. Permanent employees are being cut off slowly one by one.
When i was looking for jobs i was told they would hire me but only as a contractor
Well duh have you tried telling it to be smarter than that
“You are a senior developer, YOU ARE A SENIOR DEVELOPER”
