RULES

  1. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
  2. Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including all information that can initiate conversations when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
  3. Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
  4. Stay calm: Donโ€™t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world
  5. Keep it clean and SFW
  6. No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.
  7. No support questions. See !techsupport@lemmy.world

If I could pick one souvenir food wise it would be this garlic sauce from here in Malawi.

Will make a series of posts on this.

Hahahaha. That is true love. Bachelors is definitely the peak here and I fully agree they are really great.

Somehow I ended up having a discussion on here about beans with some English folks and they swore blind that Branston were amazing and far better than HP so I must try them also but it is hard to beat Bachelors.

They used to have a constant ad campaign running here in the 80s with their mascots "Beanie and Barney"

Branston is my white whale at the moment, hard to get here, but yeah I wonder if it lives up to the hype because I've heard that too. I do enjoy the pickle from time to time
