If I wanted to be really fair I'd say maybe those flags are WW2 trophies. My great-grandfather had a captured imperial Japanese flag for instance that he displayed because I guess he was proud of capturing it.

It feels like a stretch though

the design shown here has not been used by the nazis and the way thd fabric looks shows that these flags were manufactured quite recently.
