I've been using paid Boost for a long time but I'm ready to abandon it, just installed Voyager to take it for a spin.
Boost has just too many bugs that render it unusable, and they've been around for more than 4 months. Namely: Posts that you purposefully "Hide" or "Mark as Read" keep coming back no matter how much you fiddle with it.
I'm just exhausted with it. Every bug fix brings new mystery behavior because the dev isn't keeping up with underlying Lemmy platform changes well enough.
I'm on the Beta now and the problem described is apparently "fixed" but I'm not falling for it. This is the bug that keeps coming back like a bad penny. I also got convinced it was fixed over a year ago but nope.
