As if the tech in those bombs is so advanced that the Chinese don't have an equivalent.
Knowing how they work can help developing countermeasures like jamming.
Thats one thing. The materials, surface coatings, and small improvements are all valuable. The literal high temperature parts have close kept technical detail thats otherwise impossible to get at outside espionage or this sort of situation. A few little things gleaned and you've got significant gains for very little investment.
Chinese tech isn't more advanced in every single respect, and even if it were in this case that doesn't mean they don't have anything to learn about particular functions for creating countermeasures.
