The parent-child relationship is going to be a transactional one so long as there is property, which precedes capitalism. The purest expression of this shouldn't be viewed as exceptional, but rather as the penultimate moment in this historical dialectic. Otherwise you are going to get 'retvrn to extended family' reactionary socialism instead of family abolition.
