Nobody has to talk like this. I want to stress the period at the end of that sentence. I want to emphasize the word “has” as well.
None of this is needed. He could be his entire awful self and not have to talk this way. Talking this way is not integral to him or anyone else’s personhood or career or whatever.
I’m not saying anybody should do anything. I’m just pointing out that the way he talks is unnecessary.
So when you read this shit and people toss words around in the zeitgeist like “cringe” understand that they are articulating a deeper feeling when it comes to this particular guy. The unnecessary-ness of him.
