You never missed home comforts whilst on holiday??
I've never understood how a person can want to have an adventure and still think of home so much they need to cosplay a slice of it.
...not that I couldn't live without for a week or two, no. It just seems like a huge waste to have a new world outside your hotel room door, but end up doing things that you could easily do every other night at home.
That said, it's a personal preference. If people want to live British while abroad, then hey it's their holiday. I don't quite understand it myself but I'm happy for them.
It's a certain type of British as well though, wherever I've been and there's been like a 'British' themed pub or even an area. For some reason it's always been like Blackpool
