"They want to stop the war and want Ukraine to pay the price," one of the sources said.

i want to say that this should be a lesson to anyone that wants to join nato or get closer to the west, but watching the recent color revolutions in nepal and mexico makes it clear that no one is paying attention to learn this lesson.

ukraine is famously not paying the price for all this right now, no indeed. only if the slaughter stops will they be paying the price.
