I'd really like to know what goes into these safety scores. I watched the videos for a few of them, and there's little visual difference between the Vulnerable Pedestrian and Driver Assist categories for any of the top performers. Yet the Chinese manufacturers all rate 5 to 10% lower? What's the criteria?

So it kinda blows me away that it still rates the Tesla ~~Explosion Machine~~ Model 3 so highly, despite its objectively worse performance in passenger safety. I at least know the passenger safety is measured by readings from those impact dummies.

Teslas used to be super safe. When i watched the videos of the tests, a lot of them were tests if the car tipped over sliding in sand and stuff like that. Well no shit the car doesn't flip over where there are a ton of batteries on the bottom of the car.
