I guarantee you data centers are excluded from this law.
Why would a data center need gas?
To run turbines to generate electricity
Backup generators. Can’t lose a second of uptime my dude.
Not just backup
Data centres usually have an excess of heat and need significant cooling, which will always be provided by electricity regardless of this law.
And that electricity has to be a sure thing. Shit when they are doing even routine maintenance they run generators because it’s more reliable than grid power.
I didn't think of generation on-site with gas, but you are probably right.
