Mine is the 1970s animated version of The Hobbit.

Nah, it's a pretty decent movie. Possibly because it changes everything about the book

It does everything it can to improve the book and a lot of those decisions are phenomenal. But it’s still not a good movie. I just love it dearly.

I've definitely not good enough I have any desire to rewatch it, but if there was an IMAX 3D re-release and a friend had a spare ticket, I'd go

Mind you, that's also true of about half the films I've ever seen, so not exactly high praise

Fair enough. It’s got some solid spectacle so I’d be down for a big screen rerelease. Pity nobody actually liked it enough to warrant one. Oh well.
