RULES
- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
- Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
- Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
- Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world
- Keep it clean and SFW

That's fucking wild. Seven hours??? No commenting or anything, just literally consuming?
I'm sort of baffled by the way people use TikTok; if I get the train to work in the morning, I'll see loads of people using it and it very rarely seems like they get to the end of a video? It's like they flick past them before the videos finish? Unless I'm missing something.
you can see why p47/gop wanted to buy tiktok, if people are this addicted, they will consume right wing propaganda for that long.
It's the perfect propaganda machine. Subtle messages that aren't top bad, only a few seconds to plant the idea, then it gradually pushes you further and further.
