This reminds me of a "humans are space orcs" trope, dragon race who have food so spicy it'd kill most species in the galaxy, but human spice seekers are disappointed in it. "You call this deadly spice? There's a Mexican place that serves hotter spice in my hometown. Come on, don't give me the mild sauce even though I ordered extra spicy, just because I don't look like the chefs."
