After picking up the PRC flag from the ground in some exercise of respect, Hasan Piker dusted off the flag before putting it in his pocket.
He then makes a sarcastic comment foretelling his coming struggle getting back in America due to this gesture.

He already got detained at the border once, albeit not for very long or under terrible conditions

He has enough money to keep a lawyer on retainer and really fucking should at this point.
He got detained by CBP a while back, but has done some international travel since then without getting detained.
That being said, his profile is even higher now after the Mamdani election, and this time he will be returning from China, last time it was France.
It is probably 50/50 on whether he gets detained at all, and the length of that detention will most likely be just a few hours again, but who knows. Anything is possible.
They do it with journalists they don’t like.
