I'm in the AI will be transformative camp but it's early days and could go either way
The maddening thing with AI is there is no good outcome. Either it works and a shitload of currently employed people lose their jobs, or it's a dud and the market collapses. There's no winning for the worker.
Ultimately no winning for the state, either. Unless they're willing to murder 100s of millions. And well, they probably are.
They'll just put everyone on the dole. But it will be the meagerest most miserable existence possible.
thinking about it this way it will be one of the biggest upward wealth transfers in history
