Fuck no. Hoping he dies in a funny humiliating way, I no longer vote. It's bullshit and I don't want to legitimize it.
After j6 they're responsible in exactly the way every cop in the department is responsible for the obviously sex trafficking guy, even if they keep their rape more personal. They monopolize acceptable violence disempowering the rest of us, and instead if using it to stop the fucker use it to protect and insulate him from harm. Also all the leg/organizational/cultural/physical infrastructure they built for this shit.
Like imagine if Obama had given snowden a medal and declared the NSA 'over', or that their surveillance programs were over and they sent audit teams to suspect Pd's to cut their shit out. Instead of hunting him down til he got to Russia. Do you think any of this could be happening in that world? Or if he OR biden had curtailed, or just not expanded, ice? Do you think this could have moved as fast?

Government is just one way of coordinating people at scale. This representative stuff where you can't directly represent your own interests has turned out pretty alienating too; maybe it could work without capitalism but IMO you'd have to start fresh on that.
I would recommend you try literally any of the less authoritarian ones. My fav is the open software model, but there are too many good options and most of them fit together, so I look forward to seeing your favorite in action!
