Also does that spoiler in the body work for everyone? This is what sync does automatically, and I've found other spoilers to be broken through the app. Is that just a sync thing or is it dependant on something else?
That's the Reddit syntax. A bunch of clients still use it for some reason.

You might want to consider giving the dev a nudge (same with anyone who uses a client that has markdown issues).
