Bullshit, Kamala has never been popular.
The neoliberals thought putting a brown woman next to Joe Biden would make people forget he was an old conservative white man.
And Kamala agreed to that arrangement, because she was insanely unpopular.
The only people who wanted her are the wealthy, and she couldn't manage her own campaign team.
If she could be a good president, shed have been running things when Biden was in office, instead of the motley crew who were doing their best Weekend at Bernie's.
That was her shot to show she had it. Instead they had to hide the fact that Biden couldn't run till the last second, because they knew she didn't have a shot in hell in a primary.
The 2020 Democratic Primary is a good place to look at her popularity, at no point did she poll higher than 6% and she dropped out late in 2019 due to lack of funds

I was at the California Democratic Party convention in 2020 when Harris and other candidates spoke. Her speech was the biggest political wet fart I’ve ever seen directly. She took a moderately enthused crowd and sapped the room of energy. That was my earliest clue that, policies aside, she has absolutely no political talent whatsoever.
