- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. - No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. as someone not allowed to vote not sure why everyone keeps voting for republicans or democrats and expecting better
it is an unsolved mystery
True. Both sides are the same. You're so smart.
Just some snarky comment like the democratts or republicans make? No formal rebuttal disputing my claim with facts?
Also beyond a both sides issue when both parties are engaging in different dynamics of the same drama with one being the hero party and the other playing the ones against the hero in a modern football politics theater fashion with all the bread and circuses included while excluding all the meat and all for the benefit of the owner class but at the same time both parties profess loudly that they are for the people and that the other party are the vile traitors out to destroy our country and rob us of our wealth
Typical democratic/republican response that mirrors the landscape of the United States today currently and that of yesteryear Germany about a hundred years ago
If was so smart would not be asking why honestly can not fathom why this continuity after so many failed promises and obvious alliances to others that are not the everyday citizens
Remind me, which party is shutting down the government because they want to abolish the Affordable Care Act?
You ask for facts to counter your argument, but you have no argument. You just said: "Both sides are bad." Without any reasoning or supporting facts.
You are the guy in 1935 saying: "Well at least the autobahn is getting built, this really helps the average citizen."
if both parties have failed to do anything in X amount of decades then why keep voting either party in even if for the sake of argument the two are completely different and detached from one another
doing the same thing over and over but expecting the outcome to be different is insanity but here we are back and forth about that not being the fact here
neither of the two parties regardless of feelings have lived up to their respective party goals nor have they lived up to the expectations of the citizens such as healthcare/living wages/etcetera
why keep defending them what have either party done to gain such respect and admiration and blind following
last president thought his kid was above the law and that schools should be segregated but only trump deserves to called out even though the last presidents vp worked with trump during trumps last presidency to secure the building of oil pipeline by using police and forceful tactics on protestors
we need new representation but keep voting in same parties
Because the parties aren't institutional monoliths that never change...
You're complaining about the 30+ years neoliberals held the chair, and ifgnoring that the voting members elected a staunchly non biased chair, and that the result of him leading a state party for a decade turned a purple state blue, and home of some of the most progressive and popular Dems in the country...
You can't wait for billionaires to tell you that the billionaires lost control of the DNC.
When it happened they started shitting on the DNC and trying to depress turnout.
Dem primaries have literally never been as important as they will be the next three years. We can waste this chance
No one owes you their time. If you want to have a genuine conversation, put the effort in yourself rather than starting with an inflammatory opinion and expecting others to do the work of disproving you.
Thanks. It's always a good reminder that 80% of the people on here are children.
